Allied Press Ltd is an Otago-owned media company with interests in daily and community newspapers, regional television stations, internet websites and commercial printing operations. From its base in southern New Zealand's largest city, Dunedin (Pop: 122,000) the company controls newspapers in Canterbury, Westland, Otago, and Southland, television stations in Christchurch and Dunedin and printing operations in Alexandra and Greymouth. It employs more than 400 staff. The flagship of the group is the highly regarded morning publication, the Otago Daily Times, which was founded in 1861 and boasts the longest daily publication record of any newspaper in New Zealand. The ODT is the only remaining New Zealand owned morning daily, and enjoys one of the highest market penetration rates in the nation for a paid daily. Allied Technology is a digital application specialist company. We specialise in bespoke software technology for use in e-commerce advertising and auction applications.

We manufacture and distribute odour removal products for both commercial and domestic uses. We sell a nanotechnology spray that will remove the smell of pets, urine, cigarettes, spilled milk or any other nasty odours. We also sell innersoles/footbeds that are infused with the nanotechnology which will remain odourless for many years. If you live with a smoker or your car smells of cigarette smoke a quick spray will remove the smell for a very long time. If you use your car to take your dog to the beach a quick spray will remove the doggie odours from the car. The same goes for your furniture spraying directly onto furniture will remove the odours. Developed by Kimberly Clark in the USA and supported by scientific data gathered both here in NZ and in the USA there is nothing else on the market that works this well.
