WaterForce is a leading irrigation and pumping company with branches throughout New Zealand. We have a full-time technician position available in our Southland team located in Gore.

Key responsibilities:

• Servicing of pumping systems including irrigation, stock water and effluent
• Assisting in installation of new systems
• On-site problem solving
• General service work, assisting other staff in the workshop and on site
• Available for call outs including weekend work

The ideal applicant will have the following:

• Physically fit
• Honest and hardworking
• Well organised, practical and methodical
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work unsupervised, as well as with a team
• Ability to get the job done (able to work extra hours when necessary).
• Experience and understanding of electrical systems
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Clean New Zealand drivers license
• Experienced in irrigation and pump installations/operation preferred, but not essential
