McAlpines Mitre 10 MEGA are seeking a highly motivated and energetic person to join our Seasonal (Outdoor Furniture, BBQ’s and Heating/Cooling Solutions) Sales Team, which is one of our key inspirational areas with the store. If you have experience in this area and sales, and have a passion for excellent customer service, this would be a great opportunity for you to put your skills and creative flair to good use. This is a very hands-on, customer driven role.

The successful applicant for this full-time role will be focused on the needs and requirements of our customers in the department. They will also be flexible and dynamic in their approach to go the extra mile to meet our customers needs. This is a customer-facing role that will include merchandising and stock integrity.

What we need from you:

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Excellent organisational and computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Delivering excellent customer service
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Physically fit as there will be manual handling, lifting and ladder use
• Able to commit to working one weekend day per week and flexibility on public holidays
