We have an opportunity to join our Mechanical Engineering team. McAlpines Engineering offers a range of services, including equipment maintenance and custom project solutions across New Zealand and Australia.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5 pm.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Relevant Trades Qualification
• Knowledge of engineering principles and maintenance procedures, fitting & turning experience
• Problem-solving skills with timely solutions
• Flexibility for extended hours if needed
• Experience in stainless steel fabrication and sheet metal work is a plus
• Be physically fit

This position offers involvement in projects, installation of new equipment, and various mechanical engineering applications.

We provide a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for ongoing training.

McAlpines have an active drug & alcohol policy in place, a pre-employment drug test and medical will be required.

You must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
