Lister Helecopters require a full-time groundcrew operator to join the team at our base in Milton, South Otago.

What we're looking for:

• A full licence with a clean driving record.
• Physically fit.
• Honest, reliable, punctual and show attention to detail.
• Able to follow instructions and show initiative when required.
• Mechanically minded would be a bonus.
• Able to communicate as the frontline person to deal with clients onsite and provide a quality service.
• Class 2 or Class 4 drivers' license would be an added bonus.
• Able to cope with an ever-changing environment (no two days are the same with variable start & finish times each day - if you like routine then this is not for you).
• MUST be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol test and continue to pass further regular random tests.
• Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Your tasks will involve:

• Mix and load chemicals & fertiliser into helicopter spraytanks & underslung buckets
• Transporting of loading equipment & setting up pumps
• Refuelling of helicopters and portable tanks
• Day-to-day maintenance of vehicles and equipment
• Some weekend work will be required so flexibility is essential at certain times of the year
