About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Maintenance Engineer to join the Westfleet Seafoods team. In this role you will primarily oversee the day-to-day operation of the plant and equipment within our factory, wharf area and retail shop.

Performing essential repairs and maintenance tasks yourself or arranging contractors. Duties will also include maintaining all documentation and records accurately. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be the main contact for all maintenance issues.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in regular maintenance, fitting, servicing of machinery and routine checks
• Refrigeration and/or food production experience would be an advantage
• Ability to respond quickly and prioritise when things arise
• Possess a keen and positive attitude. Can easily adapt and learn new systems
• Thorough with good attention to detail
• Physically fit
• High standard of Health and Safety practices
