Mountain Scene IN TRADE
The Routeburn Dart Wildlife Trust (RDWT) is a registered charity founded in 2013, that raises funds and undertakes to support conservation projects in and around Glenorchy. Its main target is the trapping of non-native predators that threaten native bird species. This work is done by contractors and volunteers. The Trust’s profile and role are well established in the Glenorchy community.
The Trust is seeking a new part-time Executive Officer to run its administration and financial activity, most of which can be done from home. The time commitment is variable but averages ten hours a week. The Executive Officer reports to the RDWT Trustees, who all live and work locally.
Duties include the scheduling and minuting of Trust meetings, pursuing fundraising opportunities, payment of invoices, liaison with contractors, Trustees, other conservation groups and the Department of Conservation and writing newsletter and website communications.
